Over the past 13 years, I have searched through hundreds of plugins and spent hours and hours trying to find the gold amongst the endless sea of shitty free VST plugins. Audio engineering is a large part of creating a VST, Audio Unit, or AAX plugin, but the sounds of this Wurlitzer library have barely been processed. Low Frequency mud was cut, and the tone can be shaped dramatically by blending between DI and amp signals.
The magic of software virtual instruments ! Recreating known piece of hardware, emulating famous synth, trying to capture the spirit of a machine, attempting to copy the sound and feeling of an instrument!
